We advise you not to go swimming in the ocean or pool for at least ten days after getting your new tattoo. You can shower normally but do not rub soap directly on the tattoo. .

After seven days it is safe to go into the sun or work out with your new tattoo. The first week of the healing process is the most important to ensure longevity of your tattoo, but after that you can sun tan and work out normally.

If you follow our aftercare instructions carefully your tattoo will heal fully within 2-3 weeks. The healing time also depends on the size and coloring of your tattoo, and where it is placed on your body.

We have a 24 hours prior cancellation policy. If this policy is followed, you are entitled to a refund of your deposit. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the studio will hold the deposit.

You can reschedule your appointment with Island Ink once without any consequences. If you reschedule for a second time the studio will hold the deposit and you will have to pay another deposit.

The price of your tattoo depends on the design, size, placement, and coloring. Once you send us your design ideas we will get back to you with a quote immediately. Island Ink has a studio minimum of 1 mil IDR and we do not go by hourly rates.

You can either pay cash, Indonesian bank transfer or Paypal.

We prefer bookings so that we can plan enough time to have a design consultation with you.

However, if you walk in we are happy to accommodate you if we have availability. If we don't we will just book you in for a time slot that suits you.

We offer hand, palm and finger tattoos, however we cannot guarantee the longevity of these tattoos. Every person and skin type is different, so for some people hand, palm or finger tattoos will fade/drop out after a few days and others will stay forever.

If you have consumed several alcoholic beverages and it is effecting your rational thinking we cannot tattoo you. However, if you have a few drinks during the tattoo process and you are clear minded it does not affect the tattoo in any way.

Island Ink uses the highest quality tattoo equipment available on the market. We use dynamic Ink imported from the United States which is a vegan, long-lasting, premium tattoo ink for black and Intenze color ink for color pieces which is also a vegan based ink.

We apply the highest international hygiene standards aligned from Australia and Germany in our studio. All our staff is trained to ensure hygiene levels at all times as this is one of the most crucial parts of the Island Ink values.

It is absolutely safe to get tattooed in Bali. Island Ink operates with international safety and hygiene standards. All staff are trained by experts to ensure a safe and comfortable tattoo experience. If you have any medical conditions please let us know before the tattoo so we can accommodate those and ensure your safety through the process.

As a preparation for your tattoo appointment just make sure you do not get sunburned right before your tattoo. Also, have a solid meal before your appointment. If you had any medications please consult with a healthcare practitioner first to be safe.

The answer is simple - yes you can. The flight will not affect your tattoo in any way.

It is safe to consume any food or drinks before and after getting tattooed. Certain foods or drinks do not affect your tattoo.
